To strengthen Southern Marin through charitable support, education, and assistance programs that promote community well-being and resilience. 

WHO ARE WE

The Southern Marin Fire Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2017 to support the work of Southern Marin Fire Protection District and the communities it serves — Sausalito, Mill Valley, Tamalpais Valley, Almonte, Homestead Valley, Alto, Strawberry, part of Tiburon, Fort Baker, and the Marin Headlands.

We exist because firefighters see needs up close that formal systems can't always reach quickly — a family who just lost their home, a teenager who wants to become a paramedic but can't afford school, a homeowner who knows their property is a wildfire risk but can't cover the cost of clearing it. The Foundation turns community donations into fast, direct, compassionate action.
